April brings a set of meaningful platform updates focused on payment flexibility, event organization, virtual event controls, and streamlined presenter workflows. These enhancements continue to support organizations to manage, promote, and deliver accredited continuing education programs with greater efficiency.
Below is a summary of what's new!
A new offline payments option has been added to give organizers and registrants greater flexibility at checkout.
When a registrant selects the offline payment option, they are registered for the event immediately while an invoice is generated for payment at a later date. Payment can be made through Stripe Connect or through traditional offline methods such as check or bank draft.
Stripe Connect transactions are captured automatically in Order Details. For payments made offline, organizers can manually mark the registrant as "paid" once funds are received.

The payment modal has been updated to include a country selection list, with the United States set as the default.
This update better accommodates group registrations from international organizations and removes friction for attendees outside the US.

Ticket categories are now available for in-person and virtual events, providing a more organized way to display and manage different ticket types within a live event.
Categories are currently limited to two per event and do not apply to hybrid formats.

Organizers can now set a default background for Zoom sessions directly within the platform. Two options are available:

Recording options within Zoom Settings have been expanded. Organizers can now configure recordings to capture active speaker view, gallery view, and shared screen as separate recordings.
Additionally, organizers can select which views they would like to display on the attendee dashboard after the session.

Primary presenters can now submit a CV on behalf of a co-presenter during the Call for Presentations process.
Previously, co-presenters were required to complete this step independently, which created additional coordination and follow-up for organizers and submitters alike.
