Overview
The August and September release delivers a suite of enhancements for conference-style events, bringing more power to both organizers and attendees. Key additions include the new Agenda Builder, refined attendee dashboards, expanded approval and discipline handling, internal review refinements, Zoom integration updates, and upgraded monitoring tools.
Introduction
Feedback from clients in the conference space underscored the need for better session customization, reporting, attendee tools, and stronger internal monitoring. Our latest update isn't just a visual refresh – it's a meaningful improvement of the attendee experience. Built with modern event organizers and their participants in mind, the new dashboard addresses the evolving needs of today's conference landscape while maintaining the reliable functionality you've come to trust. This release delivers not just visual updates but meaningful feature improvements, especially for multi session events, while preserving the dependability CE-Go users expect.
Feature Updates
Attendee Dashboard
- Redesigned interface with better filtering, more intuitive navigation, and improved usability
- For events marked “remove CE info”, the dashboard’s CEs tab is renamed to Info, and additional cosmetic changes clarify when CEs are not granted
- Attendees can build their own agenda using the Agenda Builder directly within the dashboard
- Add ons such as special workshops or materials can now be purchased directly from the dashboard
- Downloading session materials is prevented during live events to protect content integrity
- A splash page has been added in preparation for the upcoming mobile app
Conference Tools and Navigation
- Dashboard customization tabs have been reorganized for more intuitive use by event organizers
- Conference features such as Agenda/Groups, Agenda Builder, Session Filtering, Rooms, and Exhibit Hall are consolidated under a central Conference menu
- The Agenda Builder enables participants to see the full schedule and select sessions to attend
- Rooms, Exhibitors, Groups, and other elements now integrate more smoothly
Reports and Certificates
- New Sessions Attended report added under Certificate → Reports
- Includes attendee name, email, discipline (from evaluation), total CEs earned, and sessions attended
- Supports COPE and ACPE reporting requirements
Email Sequences
- Post event email sequences have been enhanced
- Organizers may now embed direct post event questions to improve response rates
Approvals and Disciplines
- Approvals are now explicitly associated with disciplines
- When you apply an approval to an activity, its associated disciplines are added automatically
- This change improves internal discipline reporting, including for JPARs
Internal Review
- Non educational sessions are no longer shown to internal reviewers when assigning event level reviews
- This streamlines focus and avoids clutter during review assignments
Zoom Integration
- Updated process and documentation for integrating organizational Zoom accounts
- Adjusted in response to Zoom’s changes to server to server OAuth app types
Admin and Monitoring
- Internal monitoring has been upgraded to Nightwatch, a monitoring service that tracks logs, performance metrics, errors, and more
